Revitalizing faith communities
If you lead in any size faith community, especially a smaller church, you already know:
You don’t have extra people.
Which means you can’t afford to have people sitting on the sidelines.
But that’s exactly what happens when people:
don’t see where they fit
don’t feel confident stepping in
assume someone else is more qualified
Here’s what I’ve seen again and again:
The issue usually isn’t willingness.
It’s clarity.
When people begin to understand:
how God has already been at work in their lives
how the Lord has uniquely gifted them
how their experiences matter
how their design connects to real needs
They stop waiting.
They start showing up differently.
And in our faith communities, that shift changes everything.
It’s our job as leaders to help them make those connections…and to issue more meaningful invitations that utilize all of who each person is and what they bring to the table—while prioritizing their growth and maturity along the way.
If you’re planning fall groups, don’t just fill space—
build something that helps people step into purpose.
