Pray that as we welcome new staff and ministry leaders to [insert church name here]—for a passion for equipping = for seeing everyone engaged in meaningful relationships and service in the church and surrounding communities to be marks of who we are and who they are! Pray for more of a culture that focuses on helping people understand and live into the high calling described in 1 Peter 2:9:  YOU are a “royal priesthood”?

Pray for [insert church name here]’ Equipping Ministry to find new, enthusiastic people who see the importance of having intentional process/systems, ones who are willing to do the collaborating, creating and implementing, and those who have influence in vital areas in our church community.

Pray for our staff and ministry leaders—to increasingly adopt an equipping mindset and make room for others in ministry  (Ephesians 4:11-13)—especially as both our staff size and congregation numbers are [higher/lower] than previously.

Pray for the timing of offering the two-week spiritual gifts Your Unique Design classes—the planning and invitation process, and the timing of offering a six-week God. Gifts. You. course as well. May these be God-blessed discovery points so people can identify and/or further clarify their God-given giftedness for ministry and to learn the language of the Body of Christ.

Pray for the updating of our database of talents, skills, spiritual gifts, and passions. That we would get this information from those who have not yet provided it to us. That we could efficiently revise the information we currently have—so that it reflects our current congregation and their abilities and gifts in this season. That staff and ministry leaders would increasingly make use of this information in building their teams.

Pray for positions that require necessary screening and risk-management, including background checks—that these efforts would be done well in order to protect your most vulnerable populations and your volunteers.
